Demonstrating Lasting Impact & Improving Well-Being

We've made significant progress thus far with limited funds and resources, but there are regrets that many cases could not be served due to limited funds. However, the results of our missions impact questionnaire, photos, videos, and narrated descriptions/accounts provide substantial documentation of the progress and effectiveness of missional focuses, projects, strategies, etc. The overwhelming majority of those who responded were justifiably proud of the changes, empowerment, and improvements. Reportedly, the participants and recipients expressed via emails, texts, face to face, and provided photos and videos that the missions work has made a significant difference in the lives of individuals and their communities---e.g. the missions impact has increased food security, water security, increased jobs availability, facilitated startup of small businesses, introduced strategies to store and extend food/crops availabilty, supported production of bricks for building produce storage units and for ongoing work on the village community center, introduction and provision of solar power-lighting and cooking at startup cafe, and gas generator power, simple irrigation and water system power, purchase of laptops, sewing machines, digital projector, video projector screen, food for homeless/volunteers, supports to the elderly, support to single mothers, repairs on the structure used as a classroom and meetings venue, et al.

We're not just providing temporary aid and then moving on. Unlike many other organizations, we're here until significant milestones have been reached and documented. Among these are improvements in food and water security, improved access to basic educational/vocational opportunities, increased job availability/entrepreneur- ship, access to medical resources and personnel, et al.

A-C*Uman will continue to follow-up, monitor, survey, and make impact(s) after our initial period of service ends. Thereby, it's more likely that left behind will be improved individual lives and community development, and sustainable positive changes. This is an important distinction, as it shows that our goal is more than just to provide miniscule aid. We are building relationships, fostering sustainable growth, and empowering individuals to support themselves and reach out into their community to help others.

A-C*Uman endeavors to insure that the operation and outcomes of our missions reflects the quality and dedication of our team. We don't just abruptly show-up, provide assistance for a short time, and then abruptly leave. Instead, we endeavor to build strong and lasting relationships with individuals and the communities with which we work. Thereby, it is evident that the improved circumstances are reproduceable and are sustainable. This also is predictive that the gains made can be reproduced and sustained in other's lives and areas.

It is evident that our mission impact has had a profound and lasting effect on our targeted communities. The gratitude and relief expressed by so many of those we've served leaves us humbled, and the knowledge that we've made a real difference rings in our hearts. It's a testimony to the power of good news, the tireless dedication and work of our volunteer corps, and reminds us that these results were achieved by individuals striving to make a difference.

Overall, our mission impact has been overwhelmingly positive. We've had a real and demonstrable effect on the lives of those we serve, impacting numerous areas of their lives and leaving lasting evidence . The overwhelming majority of those we've surveyed are extremely grateful for our involvement, emphasizing the lasting benefits provided and the significant improvements that have been made. There is significant evidence of the missional impact and the reports and results speak for themselves. The missional impact shows a ripple effect---e.g. increased personal resources/ necessities, increase in small businesses starting up, increased revenue/profits, and overall increased individual, as well as community benefits, et al. The missions impact is not just an abstract and intangible force but rather visible, audited, concrete, and tangible with a direct and repeatable impact on the peoples supported. This is a powerful testimony to the work that we have committed to doing and provides a strong motivation for our continued efforts. Our missions impact can be reproduced, touches lives, uplifts communities, and has palpable heartbeats---the results speak for themselves.
